Operation Home | Ramp Build
The ramp builds starts at 8:00 AM to beat the heat and usually wrap up around lunch depending on the size of the ramp. Operation Home provides all training, materials, tools, drinks, and a restroom facility. One of our Construction Managers will be on-site the entire time to help guide volunteers and make it the best experience possible. A group of 6-12 volunteers would be ideal.
Our team will be building a ramp for Mrs. Penn in Summerville. She and her husband are seniors and have lived in their home for over a decade. Due to health problems, Mrs. Penn is bedridden. It is Operation Home’s understanding that the only way she leaves the house is with help from EMS to get to her doctor appointments. On July 12th we’ll be building her a ramp and allowing her safe access to her home!
