REV + RiverDogs! Let's come together to clean up our community and keep trash out of our beloved waterways!
All litter is displaced by wind or rain and ultimately ends up in our water, causing multiple issues. Marshes are our first line of defense against high tides and storm surges, but cannot function as intended when clogged with trash. Plastics break down into microplastics that are consumed by aquatic life - this can lead to choking, suffocating, or poisoning. Litter also causes pollution that harms all plants and wildlife.
Picking up litter is not just about improving aesthetics, it's about supporting our ecosystems and all the critters that live within!
