Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month reminds us all to choose kindness. REV's selected non-profit for the month of April was Lowcountry Autism Foundation (LAF). LAF provides programming, advocacy and awareness for individuals with autism and their families. Their programs help fill a gap in services and are provided to families free of charge. Ask any family with loved ones on the spectrum, and you will hear the challenges of paying for and coordinating much needed therapies.

One of the many ways that LAF supports the Lowcountry is through a special abilities swim program. The beautiful waters that surround the Lowcountry can be harmful to children on the spectrum. Did you know that drowning is among the leading causes of death for individuals with autism? REV's $1,500 donation will provide eight weeks of swimming lessons for 8 Lowcountry children and stronger peace of mind for parents and loved ones.

Today and every day, be kind, be inclusive and support one another in community! #UPTHEGOOD
