Volunteers are needed the day of the event. Help support the big day by volunteering your time. (Needs include: parking lot attendants, Registration table help and putting up and taking down displays).
REV is sponsoring the Free PINK out tent. Volunteers can help paint the park pink by blinging out participants.
Event Details:
We encourage all guest to bring extra water, wear the color pink, or even be apart of our Pink TuTu contest! Dogs are welcome (must stay leashed). Wear your dancing shoes and come ready to celebrate!
Parking & Transportation:
Parking is free. Please follow the parking signs to the parking lot. Address: 1001 Everglades Drive, North Charleston
We will have van to provide free transportation to the entrance of Riverfront Park. Parking attendant will escort you to pick up area.
Gates Open: 12:30PM
12:30pm to 1:30PM: (Celebration Time)
-Celebration of survivors and thrives of cancer. Please visit all vendors and celebrate
-Visit our Breast Cancer Survivor VIP tent for free giveaways and to meet other survivors
-Food is available for purchase. Food trucks are Fed Up Truck and This Little Piggy
- Free Kids Zone includes an activity with pink foam with Foam Zone Party, face painting and jump castles by Bounce-N-Boujee and visit your favorite super hero with Curiouser Entertainment
- Visit the Free PINK out tent sponsored by REV Federal Credit Union. FAIRY HAIR and FREE PINK HAIR SPRAY.
-Visit the Lemonhead Candy tent for free goodies for all participants
- Visit the Charleston Battery soccer tent, Coldwell Banker tent, Alala Tent, Lonon Foundation tent, MUSC tent, Preferred Home Properties Tent, Healthy Habits tent, Trident Breast Cancer, Crews Chevy and much much more!
-Take your group picture on our GIANT Making Strides pink chair sponsored by Dotties Pharmacy.
1:30PM: (It is Time to Walk)
-Water will be provided by Coke (Thanks Coke) at the half way mark. This is a walk not a run. The walking route will be 3 miles. Encourage all to bring extra water if needed.
-Free fruit will be provided at the finish line
2:45pm: (Join us at our ending ceremony)
- Stay for our pink TuTu contest. Join us as we invite all furry friends dressed in pink and all pink tutu participants to the stage for to see who has the best pink tutu on! Winners will receive Making Strides swag!
