LOWVELO is 100% dedicated to cancer research
LOWVELO is an annual fundraising event that rallies the community for one great cause – funding lifesaving cancer research. Our goal is to eradicate cancer by supporting research into new treatments and promising approaches to finding cures at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in South Carolina.
100% of every participant-raised dollar from this grassroots event goes directly to cancer research. Riders have the option of choosing one of five routes based on their desired distance – 10 miles, 20 miles, 23 miles, 50 miles, or 80 miles.
The REV Rest Stop
Stop #1 @ Sunrise Presbyterian Church on Sullivan's Island
- Come cheer on participants as they cycle through. We be set with a full theme and all of the energy.
- Unload supplies from box truck, Setup tents, tables and chairs, Setup bike racks, Set out food and drinks, Empty trash, Keep rest stop clean, Tear down rest stop tents, tables, chairs, etc. and load into box truck
